You might have spotted a colourful leaflet from Lewes Town Council included in your council tax bills which arrived from Lewes District Council this week.
This leaflet explains how we spend our precept – the portion of the council tax collected by Lewes District Council for Lewes Town Council – reminding residents of the work that Lewes Town Council does for local residents, including the three community centres that we run, and details of community grants available for local groups.
