Lewes Town Hall

Lewes Town Hall’s historic setting in the centre of Lewes makes it ideal for hosting events. The Town Hall has several rooms available to hire which suit a huge range of functions, from large theatrical or musical performances, to small business seminars. We are licensed for weddings, and can accommodate larger parties for wedding receptions. We offer very reasonable hire charges, and discounts for voluntary organisations and registered charities.

The Town Hall welcomes school parties and the general public to see the Lewes Town Council’s collections of paintings; sculpture, historic artefacts, and George Baxter colour prints when the rooms are not in use. A comprehensive education resource pack is freely available for teachers who may wish to bring parties of students to the Town Hall. You can also download our leaflet and read more abut the history of this landmark building.
