What’s On at Malling Community Centre in August 2022?
Put that school uniform away, the summer holidays are here! The What’s On guide for Malling Community Centre in August is full of exciting activities to keep you busy over the next month.
This month, we’re welcoming Neal’s Medieval Sword Fighting class, which is usually hosted at the All Saints Centre, due to essential repairs at that centre this month. Because of the summer holidays, a few hirers have also scheduled in a well-deserved break. Please make sure you check with the organiser of the event or class you’re attending before coming down to avoid disappointment.
The centre will also be closed for a few days between 8 and 12 August for some essential repairs. However, our hard-working team will still be beavering away behind the scenes, and if you have any queries or enquiries about hiring our centre at any point, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

About Malling Community Centre
Malling (Bridgeview) Community Centre was built in the early 1970s and has been extended twice since – once to provide sports changing facilities and once to provide a popular social club. Part of the building now houses East Sussex Children’s Services local centre, and the remaining community space is used for a host of activities and events. The council has undertaken a comprehensive refurbishment of the Centre which has modernised the building and given a whole new lease of life.
The newly renovated building offers a vibrant community space, with links to outdoor facilities, spaces for public hire, sports changing rooms, and social area/café.
The Centre is open for activities and one-off events, please get in touch if you’d like to make a booking.
